Tuesday 30th Sep 🐾 The Great British Dog Walk Begins – With Zena by My Side It’s official — tomorrow I begin The Great British Dog Walk! I’m walking to raise money for **Hearing Dogs for Deaf People**, a charity that trains amazing dogs to support deaf people by alerting them to important sounds. Here’s my beautiful hearing dog **Zena** — she’s more than just a helper. She’s been my rock.  Zena helps me every day — she lets me know when someone’s at the door, if a timer goes off, or even if the fire alarm sounds. But even more than that, she’s given me independence, safety, and friendship. She’s always there for me. Over the past year, Zena has been a huge support for my **mental health** and **wellbeing**, especially while coping with **bereavement**. Getting outside with her, breathing in the fresh air, and walking together has helped me in so many ways. Now I want to give back — so more people can have their lives changed by dogs like Zena.
