Event Details

Abseil 100 metres down the iconic Spinnaker Tower and enjoy breathtaking views across Portsmouth Harbour, the Solent and the Isle of Wight. Every step you take supports deaf people - it’s an unforgettable adventure for an incredible cause! Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a first-time adventurer or simply looking to challenge yourself for charity, this is your chance to experience life on the edge while helping to change lives.

This professionally guided experience is run by Hatt Adventures at Spinnaker Tower - so you will be in safe hands from start to finish.

Where: Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth, Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, PO1 3TT

When: Saturday 2 May 2026

Time: Slots available at: 10am, 11am and 12noon, please let us know your time preference for you and your group.

Distance: 100 metre descent down the side of the Portsmouth's iconic tower.

Cost: £95 per person

Minimum Sponsorship Requirement: £120 per participant


By taking part and fundraising for Hearing Dogs, you will help train life-changing hearing dogs that will transform deaf people's lives.

Ticket terms:
Once payment is received, tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable. Tickets must not be resold. Each ticket is valid only for the person, date, and time slot stated. Late arrivals may be admitted at the organiser’s discretion. To take part you must raise the minumum sponsorship of £120.


Age requirements:
Participants must be at least 18 years old.


Please note: If you have a cochlear implant or require BSL support, please let us know when registering, so we can make arrangements with the abseil team.

Insurance: Hatt Adventure have their own Public Liability Insurance for this event, however, this is NOT personal accident insurance and does not cover issues outside of the control of the organiser.  

Whilst this event is generally considered a safe pastime, we recommend taking out personal accident insurance before taking part. Hearing Dogs for Deaf People accepts no responsibility for any issues or complications that may occur whilst you are taking part in this event.

Joining a Team Fundraiser Via a Link

  1. Open the link that will have been sent to you via email from your team member
  2. Click “Join Us” next to the team name.
  3. Enter your details (Name, email, phone number, etc) and set a password for your account.
  4. Complete your payment to join the team.
  5. Set up your very own fundraising account.
