Help me reach my goal of £3,750

I'm raising money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People by selling a carved wooden copy of the charity’s logo

Bring the Hearing Dog logo to life with this wooden ornament, which I’m making for the 28 Challenge.  It is made out of recycled hardwoods. The beech figure (105mm high) is crafted from old broken school desk lids, and the dog (75mm high) is cut out of sapele door frames that were destined for the skip.  The figures look good gracing a mantelpiece, window sill, or shelf.

I am making 28 sets (Feb 20th - updated to 130 sets if I have time to make them, as they are selling so quickly) so don’t miss out!  Each set costs £22.00 paid through my JustGiving link, and I will pay postage, so every penny goes to Hearing Dogs.   IMPORTANT : As numbers are limited, please email me your name and address to richard@modelsinwood.co.uk before paying through the JustGiving link.  I will email you back to confirm a set is available, then you can make payment, and I’ll send them off by the next post.

Every penny I raise will go to help train more hearing dogs, and so help more deaf people.

Hearing dogs are highly trained to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds, such as the smoke alarm, alarm clocks and even intruder alarms and baby monitors. They also provide lots of love, companionship and emotional support, which is really important as many deaf people can feel lonely and isolated.

It costs £25,000 to fully train a hearing dog, so please support me in my challenge.
