I am raising money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
On 13th September, I’ll be taking on the Great North Run to raise money for the incredible charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People transforms the lives of people who are deaf or living with hearing loss by training amazing assistance dogs that alert their owners to important sounds such as alarm clocks, smoke alarms, doorbells, baby monitors and even someone calling their name. These specially trained dogs provide much more than practical support – they offer companionship, confidence, independence and help people reconnect with the world around them.
The charity relies heavily on donations and fundraising to continue providing these life-changing dogs and support services to those who need them most.
