🏃♂️ 12 Half Marathons for 40! 🦻🐾
This year I’m turning the big 4-0, and to celebrate (or punish myself, depending how you look at it 😅) I’ve decided to run a half marathon every month for a whole year!
I’m doing it to raise money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People — an amazing charity that trains clever, loving dogs to help deaf people with vital and life-changing sounds like smoke alarms, alarm clocks and baby monitors. They also bring friendship and confidence to people who can often feel isolated.
It costs £25,000 to fully train just one hearing dog, so every penny really does count.
If you can spare a donation — big or small — it’ll go a long way to helping transform someone’s life.

Thanks so much for the support — here’s to 12 medals, lots of miles, and (hopefully) no injuries! 🏅🐶❤️

🌬️ Half marathon #2 is booked!
Thursday 6th NovNext up in my 12-in-12 challenge — I’ll be taking on the Windmill Way Wander in Bury St Edmunds this January! 🏃♂️💨
Hoping the only things spinning that day are the windmills… not my legs! 😅
It’s bound to be a chilly one, but after December’s festive miles, I’m ready to brave the winter weather and keep the momentum going.
The challenge is shaping up nicely — bring on the miles, medals, and (probably) a few moans along the way! 🏅

🎅🎄 First one booked!
Tuesday 21st OctMy December half marathon is officially locked in — I’ll be taking part in the “Twas the Run Before Christmas” half marathon in Brandon!
Can’t wait to kick off this 12-month challenge with a festive run (and probably a mince pie or two afterwards 😅).
One down… well, nearly — eleven more to go! 🏃♂️✨
