Team Rinri is raising money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
This October, we are taking part in The Great British Dog Walk to raise money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People!
At Rinri Therapeutics, our work is centred on improving the lives of people with hearing loss, by developing new treatments and helping them access the therapies, support, tools and services that they need.
That’s why we’re proud to support Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Hearing dogs are trained to alert deaf people to important sounds such as smoke alarms, alarm clocks, doorbells and baby monitors. They can also provide companionship, confidence and greater independence for people living with hearing loss.
Every mile we walk, and every pound we raise, will help Hearing Dogs for Deaf People continue to provide vital support services to people with hearing loss and train more life-changing hearing dogs for those who need them.
The average lifetime cost of supporting a hearing dog partnership is around £70,000, covering everything from breeding and training through to placement and ongoing support. Every donation, however big or small, will help.
