I'm raising money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
This October, I'm taking part in The Great British Dog Walk. Every mile I walk, and every pound I raise, will help Hearing Dogs for Deaf People provide practical support services for those with hearing loss and train more life-changing hearing dogs for people that need them.
Hearing dogs are highly trained to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds, such as the smoke alarm, alarm clocks and even intruder alarms and baby monitors. They also provide lots of love, companionship and emotional support, which is really important as many deaf people can feel lonely and isolated.
It costs £26,000 to fully train a hearing dog. Any donation, however large or small, will really help.

Halfway to 70 miles!
Saturday 10th Oct By the end of 9th October, Dino, Lady and I had completed 36 walking miles in 9 days. Not bad and means we should hit that 70 mile target before the end of October!
Day 1 Hearing Dogs for Deaf People 70 mile walking challenge
Thursday 1st Oct Off to a great start on Day 1 - 5.2 miles split between a walk with Her Ladyship and one with Dino. Have raised £101 so far. Any other donations would be amazing, no matter how small. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far ❤️ Share
