Thank you!!

Wow! Just a quick little update from us both to say thank you!! We have broken the £1000 mark and that’s just amazing! Thank you to every single person that has taken the time to donate to our cause!

Thank you everyone ❤️

Even our Office Manager is getting involved with our marathon training.

First Bark Run 🐕✔️ Zero consent. Elite performance. Marathon training now includes a very sassy cockapoo 😌

Half Marathon and that was hard!! You also get an insight into what I’m listening to while I do my runs 🤣

@rebeccajenkins98

Half marathon ticked off the training plan ✅ Even though this is a distance I can usually do comfortably, today was just hard. No pace goals, no pressure, just getting the kilometres done. Every kilometre I bank gets me one step closer and gets my body a little more ready for the @TCS London Marathon. I’m running it for @Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, so if you’re able to support, please visit our fundraising page to donate 💙 https://events.hearingdogs.org.uk/fundraisers/TeamRAForHearingDogsLM26 And if donating isn’t possible right now, a simple like or repost still helps this reach a few more people and honestly means just as much. I’m just a bang average 6:30/km runner, showing up, doing her best, and trying to raise as much money as possible 🏃‍♀️✨

Com and run 19km with me and Ash…although you can only peep him at the very start and a guest appearance before he zooms off 🤣

@rebeccajenkins98

Channelling my inner @Liss and @Alistair Almond to do my first run with me video, because marathon training in winter is hard. And if this is just one video that helps keep me going, then I’m going to do it. I’m running the @TCS London Marathon for @Hearing Dogs for Deaf People to help raise money so more dogs can be trained to provide companionship and confidence back to people with hearing loss. It’s an amazing charity, and if you want to support, you can visit: https://events.hearingdogs.org.fundraisers/TeamRAForHearingDogsLM26

We're fundraising for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People

Hi, we are Ash and Rebecca 👋.  Together we will be taking to the streets of London to support Hearing Dogs for the Deaf by running the London Marathon in 2026 🏃‍♂️

Why Hearing Dogs for the Deaf ?🧏‍♂️

Firstly, what an amazing cause it is and one really close to our hearts. Opening our own independent audiology clinic has allowed us to see first-hand the impact hearing loss and deafness can have. A silent world exists where people feel isolated, lonely, vulnerable and unsafe. Deafness is an invisible disability that totally isolates people from others. It can cause a huge blow to a person’s confidence and take away their independence, it does not just affect a person’s hearing.

We have an opportunity and we personally feel a profound sense of duty to contribute to gifting this confidence and independence back. Every penny we raise will help more hearing dog puppies to be trained, so that one day they can transform a deaf persons life. Although hearing dogs cannot take away all the difficulties faced by a deaf person, they can help to reduce the feelings of isolation, fear and exhaustion felt daily.

Hearing dogs are also highly trained to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds, for example alarms of all description’s and even baby monitors. They provide unlimited amounts of love, companionship and emotional support to a community who really need it.

It costs £25,000 to fully train a hearing dog, Any donation, however large or small, will really help this great charity more than you can imagine.

Thank you.
