I’m running the London Marathon 2026 for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
I’m incredibly proud to be running the London Marathon for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People - a cause that’s close to my heart and the hearts of my family.
My mum has been a devoted volunteer with the charity for over 20 years. She has helped to raise and socialise countless puppies. She supported the breeding programme by opening her home to many dogs, lovingly caring for them as they brought new puppies into the world for the very first time. Her final dog, Tia, retired in 2022. Both Mum and Tia are now both enjoying a well-earned rest after years of dedication.
Every penny I raise will help train more life-changing hearing dogs. These amazing animals alert deaf people to vital sounds like smoke alarms and baby monitors, while also offering companionship and emotional support to combat loneliness and isolation. £10 could buy a selection of treats and toys to reward the pups during their training. It costs £250 to provide food for a hearing dog for a year, keeping them strong and healthy. It costs £25,000 to fully train just one hearing dog - so your donation, big or small, will make a real difference.
Thank you!
