I am raising money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
Every penny I raise will help more hearing dog puppies to be trained, so that one day they can transform a deaf persons life.
Hearing dogs are highly trained to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds, such as the smoke alarm, alarm clocks and even intruder alarms and baby monitors. They also provide lots of love, companionship and emotional support, which is really important as many deaf people can feel lonely and isolated.
It costs £25,000 to fully train a hearing dog, so this challenge I am taking on is a great way to raise funds to train more dogs. Any donation, however large or small, will really help.
Thank you.

My Why ❤️
Thursday 9th JulI first heard about hearing dogs for deaf people through my boyfriend and his family. They have been volunteers for years, helping to train 4+ hearing dogs, and most recently their current dog Rose had the 2025 Z litter. From watching Rose become a mummy, to the puppies being born over FaceTime, and to saying goodbye to them as they began their journey with their volunteers, I have seen first hand the commitment, dedication and love it takes to not only raise and train a hearing dog but to change a deaf persons life. I’ve seen the difference these dogs go on to make. They don’t just respond to sounds, they give deaf people greater independence, confidence, and a sense of connection to the world around them. Being able to run the London Marathon is a dream, but doing it for hearing dogs for deaf people means so much more. Knowing that every mile I run helps support dogs and volunteers that change lives is going to make all 26.2 miles truly worthwhile.
